Always relevant tattoo style SteamPunk :)

Steampunk is a phenomenon that began as a literary movement in the 1980s and has evolved into an art genre, cultural movement, a style and subculture that is undeniably reflected in tattooing. Although steampunk is considered as a fusion of Victorian aesthetic principles with modern sensibilities and technology, it can be more broadly classified as neo-Victorianism, which scholar Marie Louise Kolke described as "the nineteenth-century afterlife in the cultural imagination"

On the one hand, modern and futuristic technical features are combined with Victorian means of the era and materials, creating a clear technology retro look. On the other hand, the Victorian era is portrayed in an idealized way in terms of fashion and culture. The aesthetic link between various cultural expressions is the steam engine, to which the first part of the word refers. Word "punk" second part meaning is “different.”

Termin or name "Steampunk" was first coined by American scientific fantasy and horror author Kevin Wayne Jeter (K.W. Jeter). During an interview about his 1987 science fiction novel "The Clockmaker's Legacy". He classified the world in which the novel takes place in 19th century Victorian London as a fantasy world - a Steampunk world characterized by steam engines and analogue technologies. Although now this retroactively applies to many  w o r k s  o f  f i c t i o n,  w h i c h  c r e a t e d  in the 1950s or earlier. Here, You must agree about foundation father in science fiction should be honored Jules Verne and his extraordinary flight of thoughts and vision of the world in them :)

In 1994, the Paris metro station Arts et Métiers was transformed by Belgian artist Francois Schuiten in a steampunk style to pay homage to the works of Jules Verne. The station resembles a submarine covered in brass with huge cogs in the ceiling and portholes, of which wonderful scenes open up.

Steampunk tattoos are perfect for anyone who appreciates the fusion of fantasy, science fiction and history. These tattoos often symbolize adventure, exploration and imagination. Not just old Europe represents this genre, let's not forget either American "Wild West", where steam power is still used for powered machines its gears, that revolve around the 19th century industrial revolution.

Independent and individual, a popular sub-genre worth a separate section is Japanese steampunk, consisting of steampunk themed manga and anime symbiosis.

The most influential steampunk animator was Hayao Miyazaki, who created steampunk anime since 1970s. Miyazaki's most influential steampunk production was the Studio Ghibli anime film Laputa: Castle in the Sky (1986), which became a significant milestone in this genre and Japanese steampunk in general.

I.n.t.e.r.e.s.t.i.n.g - Steel Empire (1992), a shoot 'em up game that was originally released as Koutetsu Teikoku for the Sega Mega Drive console in Japan. It is considered to be the first steampunk video game. Steel Empire developer Yoshinori Satake said, “I created this game inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's anime Laputa: The Castle in the Sky''. :)

Steampunk fashion has become popular thanks to fantasy and science fiction. It's You people ! Steampunk artists, that modern technologies wrap a nostalgic accordance, making it look like it was made by a 17th century clockmaker.

Inseparable attributes of steampunk are pocket watches, tools, steam engines and goggles. They express a connection with the ideals of punk - do it yourself and invent/adapt what is at hand.

Steampunk design aspects emphasize the balance between form and function. Steampunk itself position as a counter-movement to modernity - they

celebrate the aesthetics of pistons, screws and gears and despise the pointless nature of touch screen computers, without soulful objects are purely functional surfaces.

You know, while we gathered and searched for information for this article, we came to one interesting conclusion to which none of us could find a conclusive answer :(

The essence of the matter is this. Lewis Carroll, who wrote Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, was certainly not inspired by science fiction and was certainly not the founder of steampunk. He was a math teacher.

A question for You, our reader, why exactly the cat described in the story has gained support and representation in steampunk, with all the attributes and performance that are depicted on Your skin.

Not a rabbit with a clock or a mad hatter - exactly the cat. If you have something to tell us…. Write, we will publish an opinion with an explanation. Thank you :)

P.S.

Be creative and keep up with the latest tattoo trends, but PLEASE don't get hooked on today's digital art fishing rod. What can be digitally designed by a computer, cannot be drawn by a human. Art and Your skin have limits :)

One of the most significant contributions of steampunk is the way in which it  m i x e s   d i g i t a l  m e d i a  w i t h  traditional handmade art forms. As putted scientists Rachel Bowser and Brian Croxall, "the wisdom of steampunk is in tinkering", which

perhaps invites us to roll up our sleeves and get to work transforming the modern world. The main steampunk guidelines are fun, creativity and decency !
