What happens when Soul leaves body?

Murdered Soul Suspect is a remarkable game that inspired me to create an exclusive artwork. The main character of my piece is a Japanese girl who died in a probable street accident. I spent a long time figuring out how to draw her, ensuring she wouldn't be a copy of the original game's concept art.

I chose to portray her as a Japanese girl because, in my observation, people in Japan often seem happier in life than in Europe and America. She appears relieved and peaceful rather than scared, even if she understands she is now dead.

To symbolize the uncertainty of what awaits us after death—whether heaven or hell—I gave her both angelic and demonic features. The combination of these elements adds depth to the artwork, reflecting the duality of the unknown. A snake tattoo on her arm is a significant touch I liked, adding an artistic and symbolic element to the piece.
