Remember Me

Bonjour, Do You Remember Me

A friend once said: "The memory of a single man is a fortress, more complex than the vastest of cities, but we invented a key to the fortress. There are no secrets anymore". My friend's name was Edge. Born from the Sensen abuses, he was the first to understand we were floating adrift. Edge died to remind us that some intimate doors are not meant to be opened. And that suffering, like painful memories, are just part of life. My name is Nilin Cartier-Wells. I am a memory hunter. I can know everything about you. And I can make you believe whatever I want. This is my gift. My legacy. For the first time in my life, I remember exactly who I am. Outside my fortress I now have a family to go back to and a world to confront. A damaged world. A world to heal. This is what my friend taught me before he disappeared. I'll never forget him. What is the best comparison with France? What suits it best is if not the history of the country. The history of revolutionism. A free form of self-expression, a free will that remains untaken from you. I had joined a group of revolutionists of our time, called the Errorists. When asked what we're fighting for, well we answer for securing each one's memories to be only yours and no one else. Your memories are life's greatest treasure, the key to a person's immortality. We live our lives as long as they are meant to be, but our memories live beyond our forms. After our death, there will remain those who will remember us, just as we will remember ourselves at the end of the path. How often have you considered whether you can remember yourself, your true self, the memories from your childhood, memories from youth and how many memories of you remain in mind at old age. This was the main goal of the Memorize corporation, to keep your memories secure in safety, regardless of age, but I'll be honest, when we change our memories, we change ourselves to unrecognition, when looking at ourselves from the side it turns out to be a hard task to remember who you were before. Yes, the main point of the Errorist group was always to eliminate the mindless corruption created by the corporation itself, by swapping and revising people's memories they made a new form of addiction for those who used an implant. We fought for the freedom of people's minds, for them to keep every memory only to themselves, because you may change or forget memories, but you can't change the past, it will always remain as it was.

Merci Bouquet, and Au Revoir

Ahem, now a little inter word from the author. Every gamer sooner or later looks at projects from a small studio with caution, thinking that it will probably be a trivial waste of time and money, without giving the game to prove otherwise. A small French studio called Don't Nod, known today for the Life is Strange series of games, and let's be honest, they have lowered the graphic quality and detail compared to their first project Remember Me. The first thing the player will definitely notice will be the detailed locations and characters. When you walk through the streets of Neo Paris, you can't help but feel the atmosphere that characterizes the luxury and spaciousness of the city, and when you enter the premises there will always be something to catch your attention. You may forget the story or the world after finishing the game, but Nilin's moves will be hard to forget, her elegance in beat-em-up fighting style is the ultimate form of personalization. Her stylish shoes with small heels, furious punches swinging from her delicate fists, flying straight at enemies is a sight to behold. This project will definitely be worth spending your time in adventure with a unique experience. I would like to ask if Don't Nod entertainment will ever continue Nilin's story or will it remain a decision for each player, should the story continue or has it found its end.
Remember,
Enjoy life as you enjoy the game
