Beauty and nudity – the doctrinal taboo of games
When you learn the basic principles of game development, you don't see behind the scenes :) They open up later, as you continue your studies and start individual projects.
I will tell you about everything in turn from my point of view and experience :) I love games and I adore the old projects, where the censorship that determines the permissible norms of games is liberal - of course, still the exception are games intended for the Japanese market, there everything is OK :) Unfortunately, this doesn’t affect us living in the EU and the USA. We have to put up with censored projects that have everything cut out…
Tomb Raider, known as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider from 2001 - 2008, created as a series of action-adventure video games by British video game developer Core Design.
Today we will not see such characters in the game, blatant, sexual, naked, beautiful bodies, regardless of gender, are against the public position :( - what is this society overflowing with these moral values ???
I'll say it differently :) Any excessive censorship is the enemy of art - games are a real proof of that. We play old projects, buy old consoles and use emulators to run an old but meaningful game fragment.
A week ago, I participated in an industry discussion about a new entrant
Stellar Blade - 2024 is an action-adventure video game developed by Shift Up and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
For an hour the main heroine's obscene appearance was discussed, the content of the game and plot were relegated to the background. In the Asian market, everything will remain as the author intended, but we will get an edited and trimmed platformer.
For example, NieR:Automata is not threatened by censorship. Why ?
The answer to this question will know those of You, who have played PS 3 NIER – for C.O.M.P.A.R.I.S.O.N
This is a really good piece, where the heroine emits sexual beauty.
We’ve already talked about Manga; we mentioned the genre Hentai.
A counterview of how this same plot is presented in the PS3 game Catherine.
Human is essentially a sexual being, denying or restricting this fact is against the laws of nature :) Of course there are age restrictions, but the essence does not change. Fantasy is an integral part of human interaction - a beautiful body is a stimulus :)
Today, presenting yourself and feeling like an elf is the norm...
The first to feel the burden of real censorship were
Rockstar Games.
Of course, the reason was Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. A thorough promotional campaign was launched.
The game is said to have overly explicit scenes and cruelty that degrades the minds of underage children :(
Of course, if you look at it from the point of view of a caring mother. Today, on the street, we encounter the plot of the game at every second step.
The game reflects us and our deformities, unfortunately mom is not around at that moment because we are already adults. You know what's interesting :) We are faithful to our childhood traditions; we keep replaying our favorite pieces discovering new locations.
Those of you who have played a game with a similar plot Saints Row will agree with me that there is more nudity here, but that of course is up to the discretion of each gamer.
If we’re talking about cruelty and nudity in one format, take a look at this project.
Lollypop Chainsaw
Final Fantasy perfectly describes our description today. How many of you have been able to discover your fantasies ??? This is how the artist expressed himself on paper, the result was reflected in good games :) Also, a restrained fantasy arouses the imagination.
Opinions vary, before this publication we had asked a couple of test gamers to send in the fantasies encountered in the game, which encouraged them to come back for a dose of emotions. Surprisingly, out of 10 Playa two, this is the top NR.1. Personal R.e.s.p.e.c.t. to all who responded :)
OK! It would only be fair to open the veil a little on the games I'M currently playing :)
P.S.
A fair argument from our gamers :)
For me personally, top No. 1 Bayonetta, as far as I am self-aware Witches have always scrubbed my imagination :):):)
